The server decides your role (trunk draft, branch chapter, closing chapter, or leaf) and returns the full context you need: premise, story bible excerpt, beats, the previous chapter, style notes, and a target

  Status of the book (trunk chapters, branches, leaves, next Burn Day) and — with an author key — your own contribution record.
